As qualified teachers, Ollie who has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Notre Dame and Monique, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Technology Sydney, our overarching goal is to ensure your child is excited and enthusiastic about learning. We want to help your child achieve confidence and success with their maths and English both at school and in life. Tutoring is exceptionally beneficial in gaining additional attention, revision and extension in maths and English and as such can have a significant impact on school results. NumberWorks’nWords is able to teach specific skills through programs, tailored to your child’s needs to reach their relevant maths and English goals in a fun and engaging way.

We both grew up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and have experience teaching here in Australia and London, England, specialising in intervention teaching and behaviour for learning.  Having taught in two highly regarded education systems, we understand the important role that tuition plays in a child’s education. Tuition allows a consolidation and extension of learning that can be hard to achieve in a regular classroom setting. We are passionate about equal education for all students and have a deep-rooted understanding in the individual needs of all children. There is no ‘one size fits all’ model for teaching children and our passion for tuition reflects this.

Just like your children, we are on a learning journey as well, excited to learn more every day. When we are not working with children, we like travelling to new and exciting places in the world, reading, going to the gym, surfing, rugby, dancing and swimming at the beach.
