Meet the Owners: Adam and Ashleigh Leung

Hi! Adam & Ashleigh here, the owners and managers of the NumberWorks'nWords Epping centre.

A little bit about us. While Adam has spent almost 20 years working for telecommunications companies in various sales, commercial and marketing roles, he's known to have much more fun in his part-time role as a professional motor racing instructor as well as a drummer for our local church. Ash has been a fashion retail manager for over 10 years and has even run a YouTube channel aimed at developing self-esteem in young girls. Both of us have enjoyed years of leading youth groups and adult connect groups as well as providing mentoring for a number of young people. Above all our favourite roles have been as Mum and Dad to our amazing son, Max. We'll happily take all the hard work that goes with that because as every parent knows, it is so worth it!

We've both come from different backgrounds, culturally and professionally but one thing we have in common is a passion for creating the best environment we can for your children to learn, equipping them not just to excel in their education but to actually enjoy learning! This is a mindset they can continue to carry beyond their schooling. 'Grit' and 'resilience' are two personal attributes we hope to instil in your children and in our centre we strive to maintain a tutoring culture that develops these two things by creating an environment that is enjoyable, fun, and that positively encourages your children to overcome challenges.

We also feel it's super important for parents to stay up to date and close to the progress of their child, so we make it a point to provide regular updates to every parent and we keep our phones close to us for calls at times that suit you.
