Meet the Owner: Julie Valenzuela

Hi, my name is Julie. My partner Jason and I are the owners and managers of NumberWorks'nWords Clayfield.

With over 20 years experience in education I have enjoyed the challenges of diverse roles across both primary and secondary schools in Queensland, including those of classroom teacher P-7, Acting Principal, Guidance Officer, Music Teacher and Support for Students with Disabilities and Support Teacher for Literacy and Numeracy. I believe every child has the potential to shine and just love making the difference to help them achieve it and being around when it happens

Alongside teaching, I have been fortunate to have also been able to pursue my love of music. I am a practicing composer, pianist and vocalist and have recorded, toured and performed around Australia and on occasion internationally.

Jason holds a bachelor of Economics and brings a wealth of business and financial expertise to the business, having held executive management positions in both banking and the corporate sectors. Jason enjoys riding his many bicycles and spending time with his beloved border collie, Toby.

Jason and I have 4 children who are now all grown up. We love to travel and treasure family time spent together.

Jason and I are proud and excited to be offering NumberWorks'nWords Clayfield and look forward to meeting you.
